«You made this match public on …»: what changes from that date

Bookings

If you turned a private match into a public one, your organiser tools show the line You made this match public on with the day and time in the club's time zone. It tells you since when the rules of a public match apply.

Where you see it

  • Only the person organising the match sees it; the other players don't.
  • It shows while the match is still public and hasn't been cancelled or expired.

What changes from that date

  • You can't leave the match: the court is yours. If you no longer want to play, cancel the match.
  • Anyone who leaves no longer gets a refund for cancelling, and the cancellation policy stops applying.
  • If the match doesn't fill and is played with fewer players, the people who joined after you made it public get their refund 2 hours after the match ends.
  • It can't be made private again.
