Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of MeetAndPlay. By creating an account or using the service, you accept what is set out here.
What MeetAndPlay is
MeetAndPlay is a platform that connects padel, tennis and pickleball players with each other and with clubs to play at. We are not a club, we do not operate courts and we do not give lessons. The sporting service is provided by the club where you play.
Your account
You must be of legal age, or have the authorisation of a parent or guardian, to hold an account. The information you register must be truthful, and you are responsible for anything done from your account.
How we behave on court
You are expected to show up to the matches you join, to respect other players and club staff, and to report real results. Deliberately inflating or deflating your level, repeatedly failing to show, or harassing other players may lead to your account being suspended.
Bookings and payments
The court price is set by the club, not by MeetAndPlay. When a match is split between players, each person pays their own share. Online payments are taken by card through our payment provider, and the cost of processing is added to your share and itemised before you confirm. Where a club does not take online payments, you pay the club directly.
Cancellations and no-shows
While a match isn't full you can leave and your share is returned in full. Once it is full, leaving within 24 hours of the start forfeits your share, because the court is already held and paid for. If the match never fills, it is cancelled and everything is returned. In addition, MeetAndPlay records late cancellations and no-shows on your reliability profile, because they directly affect the other three players who had already set aside their afternoon.
Content you post
What you upload (profile photo, description, messages) stays yours. You give us permission to display it within the service as far as needed for the service to work. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law.
Limitation of liability
Playing a sport carries physical risk and you take that on yourself. MeetAndPlay is not liable for injuries during a match, for the condition of a club's facilities, or for the conduct of other players. We are liable for the service we provide, on the terms the applicable law sets.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Cancún, Quintana Roo, without prejudice to the rights consumer protection legislation grants the user.
Changes
We may update these terms. We publish the version in force on this page with its date, and we tell you whenever the change is material.
