Paying at the club's front desk, and what a desk debt is
Payments
Some clubs take payment at their front desk instead of (or as well as) in the app. Here is how that works and what happens if you owe a club money.
Ways to pay at the club
- Your share in cash: when the pay screen offers I'll pay at the club, bring the amount to the front desk before the deadline shown. Your spot is held until then.
- Clubs without online payments: you hold your spot in the app and pay your share at the desk. Private lessons show Book · pay (amount) at the club.
- Deposits: if a club asks for a deposit to book, you pay the rest at the club on the day of the match.
What a desk debt is
It is an amount you owe a club and settle at its front desk: for example the fee for cancelling a private lesson after the free window, or the unpaid months of a monthly class you were removed from. You will see it in a notice and under Profile → Wallet. A desk debt only warns you: it does not block you from booking or joining matches. Other kinds of debt can block new bookings until you pay them. If the club waives a debt, we let you know.
