Recording a debt against a player: when the note is required

Payments

For club managers: in Debts, Record a debt notes what a player owes the club and blocks their purchases until it is paid or waived.

What the form asks for

  • The player ID (copy it from the club's player list), the reason, the amount and a note of up to 500 characters.
  • The reasons are Unpaid share, No-show and Chargeback, plus Other.
  • The note is required only with the reason “Other”: the form shows Required for the reason “Other” and will not save without it. With the other reasons it is optional. The server requires it too and answers An “Other” debt needs a note.
  • You can only record one against someone who has a booking, match, membership, payment or customer record at your club; otherwise a notice explains why.

Waiving a debt

  • Waive opens a confirmation with the player's name and the amount. Waiving cannot be undone: the debt shows as “Waived” and the player gets a notice.
  • If you would rather collect it, use Send payment link or Send debt reminder (at most one a week to each player).
