Importing courts, coaches, staff, classes and price rules from a file

For club managers: in Import data (the “Import setup” page) you add courts, coaches, staff, classes and price rules in bulk from a CSV or Excel file. For customers and wallet balances, see importing customers and wallet balances.
Step by step
- In the section you need, use Download template to see the columns, and choose your file.
- Say which column of the file matches each field: the system suggests them from the headers, and required fields are marked.
- Check file shows “Will be created: …” and the rows with errors (row, field and reason). Nothing is saved yet and you can Download errors.
- Import … records saves all the valid rows at once. Rows with errors are left out: fix them and upload them afterwards.
Rules for each import
- Limit: up to 200 rows per file, and 20 for Staff. If you go over, split the file.
- Courts: courts whose name already exists are skipped.
- Coaches: they are identified by the email of their MeetAndPlay account; invite anyone without an account from Coaches.
- Staff: each person gets an email invitation, with the role of manager, staff or coach. The role of someone already on the team is not changed.
- Classes: they are created as drafts; publish them from Classes.
- Price rules: a rule that overlaps another of the same priority is rejected.
- Each import asks for the same permission as creating that data one by one, and is recorded in the audit log with the number of records.
