The level questionnaire and the Level Challenge

When you create your account, you answer a short questionnaire about how you play — frequency, years playing, tournament experience, and where you'd rank yourself — to give you a starting level. It's just a starting point: it adjusts automatically from your first match onward.

Lowering your level

If you feel your level came out too high, you can lower it from Profile → Level & DUPR → Lower my level. It's instant, free, and requires no review — but it can't be instantly undone.

Raising your level with a Challenge

To raise your level faster than by playing matches one at a time, you can start a Level Challenge: you choose a multiplier (moderate, high, or extreme) and play a fixed number of competitive matches under that multiplier. Once it starts, it's irreversible until it finishes.

You can only start a Challenge if your level is no longer provisional, and there's a waiting period between one completed Challenge and the next.
