Receipt breakdown: tip, discounts and the included fee
Payments
The Receipt for a payment tells you exactly what was charged to your card. Only the person who paid can see it, and a fully refunded payment no longer has a receipt.
Which rows it can have
- Discount (CODE): one row for every code that lowered the price, with what it took off, shown as a negative. The payment's amount already has the discount applied.
- Amount and Tip: these appear only if you left a tip. The tip goes on top of the amount, not inside it.
- Total paid: what was actually charged, meaning the amount plus the tip.
- Includes MeetAndPlay fee: appears when the payment carried a fee. It's already inside the total and isn't added on top. More in the MeetAndPlay fee.
If there was a refund
- A partial refund adds Refunded and Net paid, which is what stays paid after what came back.
- A refund returns the amount first; the tip comes back only once the amount has been paid back in full. So a partial refund leaves the tip and a full refund includes it. How to ask for one: how to ask for a refund.
Tip in the club shop
- When you order in the club shop you can leave a Tip for the staff: no tip, 10%, 15% or 20% of your order, rounded to whole pesos.
- A tip can only be paid by card: while you've chosen one, the Pay with wallet button is disabled and you see The tip is charged to your card with the order. To pay with your wallet, choose No tip.
- In Wallet → My purchases each order shows its tip, and the total adds products plus tip.
In your email
- The receipt and ticket emails carry the same rows as the receipt in the app: Discount (CODE), Amount, Tip, Total and Includes MeetAndPlay fee. A row worth zero doesn't appear, so a payment with no tip or discount looks the same as always.
- The Your refund is on the way email carries Amount refunded, Net paid (what was charged minus everything refunded) and the Reason. On a partial refund it says what the original charge was.
- That email arrives when the refund settles, which can be days after you asked for it.
