Waitlist

Notify me: if your court frees up, we hold it for you

When the hour you wanted is already full, join the line with one tap. If someone cancels, the fastest finger doesn't win: we hold the court or the Open Play spot for you and you have a few minutes to say yes.

How it works

  1. Tap «Notify me if it opens up»

On the club's booking sheet, on a court hour that is already taken, or on an Open Play with no spots left, you'll see «Notify me if it opens up».

  2. See your place in line

Your wait appears in My games with your place and how often that hour tends to free up, based on the club's last eight weeks.

  3. It frees up and it's yours for a few minutes

You get a notification and nobody else can take it meanwhile: an hour if the game is a day or more away, fewer minutes if it's soon.

  4. Yes or no, with one tap

Answer «Yes, I want it» or «Not anymore» from the notification or in the app. If you say no or time runs out, it goes to the next person instantly.

A waitlist that's fair

  • No notification races

We don't alert the whole line at once: each freed spot is held for one person, in the order they joined.

  • Nobody hoards

If you're already holding another offer, this one goes to the next person and you keep your place. People who often let offers lapse queue behind those who answer.

  • Know if it's worth waiting

Each wait says whether that hour frees up often, sometimes or rarely at that club.

  • Your usual price

The court you accept is booked at your rate, the same you'd see when booking, and paid at the club.

Good to know

The waitlist is for a court hour or an Open Play that is already full; if there's room, just book. You can have up to eight active waits and three per day. You join at least 25 minutes ahead and up to 21 days before. An accepted court is paid at the club, not online. When the hour arrives, waits that weren't filled close on their own.

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to accept?
It depends on how soon the game is: an hour if it's a day or more away, half an hour if it's six hours or more, fifteen minutes if it's two hours or more and ten minutes if it's even sooner. The notification tells you your time.
Do I lose my place if I'm holding something else?
No. If you're already holding another offer, this spot goes to the next person this time and you keep your place for the next one.
What happens if I say no?
We offer it to the next person right away. If you change your mind and the hour is still full, you can join again.
