Live order of play: tournament day, without shouting names

The control desk calls each match to its court with a notification on the players' phones. Times recalculate on their own at the day's real pace, and spectators follow along from the tournament page.

How it works

  1. Set the day's clock

Minutes per match, rest between matches and the grace period for a walkover (W.O.). If you leave it blank, the bracket's duration is used.

  2. Call the match to court

You pick a waiting match and a free court. The players get «You are next», with the court.

  3. Mark start and finish

«It has started» and «Court free». With that, the board knows what's next and every estimate moves on its own.

  4. Publish the order

Turn it on and the tournament's public page shows each court and the waiting queue with an approximate time.

What the desk stops doing by hand

  • Times that correct themselves

After three finished matches, the estimate uses the day's real pace. A delay is reflected in every match behind it.

  • Delays and pauses

Add minutes to a match that runs long or halt the whole day for rain, with a reason the players can see.

  • A W.O. with a clock

The grace period runs from the court call. Only when it runs out can the W.O. be given, and the board shows the countdown.

  • Court sheets

Print one sheet per court with its order of play, ready to stick on the fence.

Good to know

Order of play doesn't build or change the bracket: it only estimates when and where the remaining matches are played. It works with single elimination, groups with a knockout stage, round robin and americano. Times are estimates, never promises, and no match is estimated earlier than the time given in the draw. Formally moving a match to another court or time is still done in the tournament calendar.

Frequently asked questions

Do players have to confirm the call?
No. They get the notification on their phone and in the app they see their court and until what time the grace period lasts. If they don't show up in time, the desk can award the W.O.
Does the public need the app?
No. If you publish the order, anyone can see it on the tournament page, which updates on its own while matches are in play.
Who can run the desk?
Whoever administers the club and staff with tournament permission. A coach can view it but can't call matches.
