Getting started
Your first 30 days: from zero to your third game
Starting is the hard part. In your first month the app guides you step by step, shows you games and classes for beginners and, if you want, an experienced player joins you for your first game.
How it works
Follow 5 steps
Get your level, play your first game, record your first result, play with 3 different people and play 3 games.
Find beginner games
Switch on «For beginners» on your home screen and check «To get started»: games, Open Play and classes in the next 14 days that suit you.
Ask for a host
An experienced player near you, at a level close to yours, offers to play your first game with you.
Get your club's welcome
If your club has its welcome switched on, it gives you points from its loyalty programme when you finish the path.
Nobody starts alone
You always know what's next
The card on your home screen shows which day you're on, how many steps you've done and which one comes next.
Real hosts
Only players with at least 5 games with a result in that sport can host. Your request reaches up to 5 hosts at once and stays open for 7 days.
Everything for beginners, together
Games and Open Play tagged for beginners or level 2.5 and below, and starter classes, some at a trial price.
Your club sees you arrive
The club sees its new players and who hasn't played yet, so it can invite you to your first game.

Good to know
The path counts 30 days from when you create your profile. After that you still see it in "Start here", but the card leaves your home screen. The welcome only exists at clubs that switch it on and run a points programme; it's claimed once, up to 14 days after your month. Hosts are players who volunteer: it's not a class or a club service.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it count if I've been playing for a while?
- The path is for your first month in the app, or for as long as you have fewer than 3 games. If you already play often, you don't need it.
- What does a host see about me?
- Your name, your level and the note you write, up to 140 characters. Then you message each other and set up your game together.
- Is the welcome money?
- No. It's points from the club's loyalty programme; the club decides how many it gives and how they're used.
