Tournaments
Tournament formats: nobody travels to play a single match
Before signing up you know the minimum number of matches you'll play. If you lose in the first round, you can keep playing in a consolation draw, and the standings tell you how each tie was broken.
How it works
See the format before signing up
The tournament page tells you the format and the minimum number of matches you'll play.
Groups, americano or knockout
Straight knockout, groups plus knockout, round robin or americano: each format with its own rules.
Keep playing in the consolation
If the club chose it, first-round losers move to a consolation draw that doesn't change the main podium.
Understand every tie
Under tied standings you see which criterion separated each pair: head-to-head, sets, games or tie-break.
Tournaments worth the trip
Guaranteed matches
The minimum comes from the same draw that is made, not from a promise.
Consolation kept apart
The consolation draw is played and shown apart from the main one, on the tournament's public page too.
Seeding by level
The club can seed the strongest pairs by their level, so they don't meet in the first round.
Standings without mystery
Every tie comes with a note: you know why you finished second and not first.

Good to know
Each club picks the format, whether there is a consolation draw and whether third place is played. The consolation draw is for first-round losers of a knockout and doesn't change the main podium. Seeding by level only orders the top of the draw, and a pair without a level isn't seeded.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the consolation draw?
- A second draw for the pairs that lose their first match. That way nobody goes home after a single match.
- How do I know how many matches I'll play?
- The tournament page tells you before signing up, worked out from the same draw that is made.
- Can I follow the consolation live?
- Yes. On the tournament's public page, consolation matches appear apart from the main draw, with their scores.
